Vision's two new rips are on the videos page.  Enjoy.

About the proxy server, I'm going to wait until the homework is due to release the whole source code (around the 27th).  Right now it only does HTTP/1.0 anyway, which is somewhat obselete.  I'll keep you all posted...hm, yeah, I should fix that method :-)

Hey, for all the unix gurus out there, interested in beta-testing a proxy server?  I'm working on a http proxy server for my network programming class, and it's almost ready for testing by real users.  So, in a day or two, I'll put up linux and solaris (sun4u) static binaries so you all can try it out and report bugs.  So far, there are many!

* - I can only distribute optimized binaries, and not source yet, because I would get in trouble...etc...

Some backbone/router seems to be having trouble between tacolinux and the outside world.  Might be RPI, might be AppliedTheory...sorry, out of my control...

Hi all, I felt bored this evening, and whipped up a small replacement for the ubiquitous UNIX host command.  I figured it should do a forward and reverse lookup of all aliases and ip addresses a name might have.  So, I took about 20 minutes and wrote phost, which can be found here.  Since it was a quick write, I didn't provide any docs with it.  A make, make install should work fine.

Two days until the trip to LinuxWorld!  If you're going on Friday, watch out for the hacker-looking group all wearing Voxel shirts, that's us.
