Hi all.  I haven't posted any news lately, sorry.  Been somewhat busy with other matters.

I'm trying to figure out what's going to happen with the server over the summer.  The site itself of course won't go away when I go on summer vacation, but it might have to get a little slower (I'll run it off my cable modem).  I'm investigating an option of keeping a box at RPI over the summer...we'll see what happens...

Looks like SprintLink finally fixed their router...

Ok, this is a must read.

Apparently, over the last couple of months, the administration of RPI as well as staff of AppliedTheory have been monitoring the bandwidth being consumed by this site, as well as other web servers on ResNet here.  To quote them, sites like these are disrupting campus network operations and hindering educational software from operating properly.

The fact is, I must shut this site down completely effective within two days.  If not, the administration will forcefully remove any computers from my dorm room in order to prevent any further abuse.  I don't agree with this, but I must comply, no choice.  Sorry folks, it had to end sometime :-(

Gotta love it when your homework assignment creates way too many threads...  This brought the end to 71 days of uptime on andromeda.
