I removed the last DNS hacks and tunnels the other day.. so my connection to Xicada is officially terminated, permanently. It was fun while it lasted, but lately, it's just been a nusance. Why, you ask?

Nobody (besides Conte) wanted to run BGP
Most of my tunnels were down 90% of the time, anyway
I need the freedom to route certain networks out specific egress points (w/out disrupting anyone else's connectivity)
Nobody really cared, anymore ...
You probably didn't ask why

Ah. That is a shame.

I'd like to get into some BGP Networking stuff soon.

I've got a few vpn tunnels running for VoIP stuff but that is about it.

Yeah, it would have been neat if everyone had jumped on the BGP bandwagon. Oh well.
