Ok, now that I have some more time, I'll give a recap of the holiday weekend.
Thanksgiving day was uneventful, mostly. It was a typical family gathering at my grandparents' house, where we had turkey and pumpkin pie. Ok, there was much more than that, but those were the two foods I enjoyed the most. I didn't line up at 0400 for black friday sales, but I did do a bit of Christmas shopping. And, since I couldn't resist, I picked up a computer game for myself.
Unfortunately, my web site was down for the holiday weekend due to a power glitch at RPI. The router for the subnet I'm on had a video card issue ... apparently it became dislodged. Don't ask me how a power blip does that, but I've heard of stranger things, I guess.
In other news, my workout at the pool today was excellent. I think I swam more today than I did the last two or three times combined. Of course, I suppose that's due to the other swimmers constantly racing me in the pool. I can't resist good competition, sometimes ...
Oh, yeah, apparently they aired that episode of Jeopardy today where Ken Jennings got booted. I'm bummed out, since I totally missed it. Does anyone have a torrent?
