I thought time flew when I was in school, but it's even worse in the working world. Well, believe it or not, it's Thanksgiving already, and I think I'm still stuck back in early October. I should start looking for Christmas presents on Friday, along with the rest of the world.
This past weekend I saw Saw and The Polar Express with a couple of friends ... back to back. They were quite good, in their own ways. Some of the animation in The Polar Express was excellent, but some of the faces were a bit odd. Saw was actually quite good, never a dull moment. It was kinda gory, but that doesn't seem to phase me for some reason.
What else ... oh, I finally got my fonts in Firefox/GTK2/Gnome to look nice. My Fujisu E-7110 came back on Friday, repaired. Since I don't have a need for two laptops, I'll probably be selling this on eBay, or something.
Oh, yeah, I think I got DDoS'ed yesterday. Tons of random ICMP fragments were getting dropped by my firewall. Can't we all just get along?
