So, I downed most of my network here for about an hour to install a new UPS.  My old CyberPower thing died at the beginning of the year, and the recent power fluctuations encouraged me to drop some cash on a new one.

Anyway, it's an APC BX1000: 600Watts and 1000VA.  Currently it's loaded with taco,tacolinux,atlantis,starfire, and my LCD panel.  The software says I'm using 384Watts, and I'll get 10 minutes of life.  Not bad for 4 computers, display, and two ethernet switches.  Let's hope it lasts longer than that CyberCrap ...
