Message no. 5 Posted by Florine Cannelle (cannef) on Tuesday, April 8, 2003 12:35pm Am I the only one in this class who's going to get a C in this class? I study for this class, and I am still getting a C even with the extra credit. I've spoken with some other people, and they've said the same thing. I was just wondering what other people's perspectives were regarding our evaluation in this class. - Florine ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Message no. 6[Branch from no. 5] Posted by Scott Parsons (parsos) on Wednesday, April 9, 2003 12:05am Hehe I am doing awesome at it. I have 24,24,24,24 on the first 4 quizzes. I am done with an A already. I know a few others who are doing well. I think the key is to have prior experience in a psychology class environment. I am used to this material and have the mentality to answer these type of questions. -Scott ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Message no. 7[Branch from no. 6] Posted by Joseph Grant (grantj2) on Friday, April 11, 2003 9:23am I have extensive psychology experience, and it still hasn't changed the fact that I'm sitting right about the B-C grade range, and as evident from the last class when she went over the quiz grades there seems to be a lot of other people who don't have the same "mentality". I think some of the problems arise from ambiguity in the questions, I would like the opportunity to be given to review our quizzes and the answers to at least check. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Message no. 8[Branch from no. 7] Posted by Naila Stephens (stephn) on Friday, April 11, 2003 11:54am A thousand times... WORD! Why don't you brag about how big of a tool you are a little bit more..? This class is general, vague, inappropriate for any student with ANY people skills and the grading may or may NOT reflect a students knowledge of the course! We are NOT required to have had any psychology before this (thank goodness because psychology is fucking bullshit anyway, there is no god damned box!!). You and you're buddies can go talk about how well you're doing and your "mentality" for answering bullshit questions, the rest of us, I think, have some serious problems with Professional Development courses. Not because they're hard, because they're a complete waste of time!!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Message no. 10[Branch from no. 9] Posted by Scott Parsons (parsos) on Monday, April 14, 2003 3:46pm Oh well - sorry dude, you are probably going to fail.
